Tom Dixon at Owl's Landing Campground

The required two-night stay at Owl’s Landing to see Tom Dixon and his band play did not shy fans away since this venue was booked months in advance. Only a few campsites were available up to the week of the show due to cancellations. The family fun campground was filled with families excited to see the upcoming show. Many were already wearing their Tom Dixon t-shirts the morning of the show. Kids prepared homemade hats for the show while others were already firing up the grills and preparing their meals before making their way to the pavilion for a fun-filled night of country music.

As the homemade Jell-O shots made by campers were being handed around to their friends and beers are popping open on the hot summer evening, the night begins with Kacie Grenon. Fans are amazed at this young girl’s talent. She definitely rocked it as if she had been singing beyond her years. Once Kacie’s set was complete, Tom Dixon and the band start and rock fans all night long. The energy is powerful and the campers are dancing along including one adorable little girl that couldn’t have been more than 4 years old. She definitely stole the show dancing in her pink cowgirl boots. As always, Tom Dixon took his risky jump to the top of a picnic table as he sang to fans which the fans loved of course. Some tables cleared quickly in the event Tom made it to their table too.

As the night ends, campers are making their way back to their campers and safely tucking themselves in so they can prepare to pack and leave the next morning. It is the best idea of Owl’s Landing to require only campers view the show which makes everyone stay after a night of partying and be safe.

We are looking forward to next year’s party! A date will be announced soon by Owl’s Landing so be sure to keep checking back if you wish to be a part of the party next year!
