After my brief visit in ‘Bama, I managed to schedule Tom Dixon for a photoshoot, which we accomplished on Friday, April 14th in Nashville, TN. We captured some amazing photos around Nashville so be sure to look for all the photos on our website. Below is a quick photo I took, which you may recognize if you follow me on Facebook (www.facebook.com/almorindaphotography).
On Saturday, April 15th, I took a drive to Bowling Green, KY. It was clear to me that I could not overlook the opportunity of checking out some great cars, so I stopped in at the National Corvette Museum. Don’t worry, I only drooled and didn’t attempt to take home the beautiful black rose Grand Sport Corvette Coupe that was sitting on display just outside the merchandise store – also a dangerous place if you love Corvettes. I encourage you to check it out if you’re in the area.
While many celebrated Easter on Sunday, April 16th, I was also singing “happy birthday” to my mom. She is 64 years young! For her birthday we started off with breakfast at the Waffle House and ventured our way back to Bowling Green, KY to visit the Lost River Cave. I did take my camera but the lighting inside the cave was too poor to capture anything (no, I couldn’t bring photography lighting either…). I did capture some great photos outside, so be sure to check those out on our website soon!
The rest of the trip was more for R&R and spending time with my mother but I did fly home on April 18th using American Airlines. No juicy stories from my flight…all went smoothly, staff was friendly and I would use them again for future flights.
